With the hasty exit of Dr. Burke at the end of the Grey's Anatomy season, it had many of us wondering what was the fate of the F-bom dropping doctor. Well, he won't be coming back. The cast and crew apparently talks about how they didn't like the way he was on set. Personally, the fact that he put his hands around Patrick Dempsey's neck while calling T.R. Knight the F-word, that's what would have me a little up in arms. But, I guess using the gay bashing word is more cause for treatment and anger management (and press) then physical violence. Um, ok. You'll be missed Dr. Burke, now maybe the writing will get a little better. Ouch.

WHOA
I'm not going to get into a full on discussion about the best soap ever, Passions on NBC, but can I bring to everyone's attention what's been going on since the beginning of the year? I think the photo speaks for itself.
You do see that those are two men, right?
BTW- Even though those bastards at NBC cancelled Passions, Direct TV has picked it up and will begin airing new episodes a few weeks after it ends its run on NBC. Sucks for me since I can't get it in my non South East facing apartment building. Hopefully they'll air it somewhere on the web too.
WHERE ARE THE MEN IN TREES???
You may be wondering where the hell Men in Trees has been. I know it's the summer already, but did anyone miss it for the past what? Four months? What the hell was that about? Luckily, it'll be back this fall with brand new episodes. I was really beside myself most of the month of May between Jericho being cancelled and not seeing Men in Trees, I was just inconsolable. I'm good now.
BATTLESTAR NO MORE
It should also be mentioned that the always wonderful Sci Fi show, Battlestar Galactica is flying for the last time, this fourth season being it's last. I know I don't talk about this show on this blog (and lately haven't talked about anything at all) but regardless, this show is definitely in the top five shows on television, if not the best. I don't talk about it for reasons I can't explain, but know that if I could, I would, because it's just that good. The writing is a amazing, the acting, the action, the special effects, everything. The show will air a 2 hour special sometime in November of this year that will highlight the other Battlestar from season 2, the Pegasus and also show a bit of the first Cylon war, old school style. The final season will begin airing in January of '08 with another 20 episodes. If you haven't watched this show yet, I urge you to buy the DVD sets, buy it on iTunes, steal it from someone, act it out with friends, whatever. It's just that good.
JERICHO
Even though I still haven't watched the season finale, had to mention that thank the Lords of Kobol, Jericho has been picked up for mid-season after being cancelled a few weeks back. Must have been all those death threats I sent to CBS. Or the fact that Jericho is one of the best shows on t.v. Seriously, it is. Hello, Skeet.
PARIS IS BURNING
So, it's been over two months since I posted anything, but this was too good not to post. I know I don't talk about gossip here, not for real, as in a post sorta talk about it, and I don't plan to, but this is too good to pass up. Be back soon to talk about finales.
Almost makes up for O.J. Almost.
