COLLECTIVE ORGASM

After last night's Lost, my new favorite show Leverage, the return of 24, Battlestar Galactica and soon, Life on Mars and The Amazing Race, January and February are turning into one big orgasm. Seriously.

Like I said...

Lost (ABC)-

It seems like it's been forever but the last time we saw these guys, six of them were home, Claire was lost and kinda crazy in the jungle with her (and Jack's) father, Hurley was still crazy, we think, Sayid was an assassin, Jack was scruffy and drunk and the ISLAND FRAKIN' MOVED. Say what?

Battlestar Galactica (SCI FI Channel)-

Speaking of "frakking", no, not like that. The season opener was last week and I about near shot myself after I first saw it. Earth has been nuked, Starbuck found her own body and Dualla got close to Apollo and then shot her own head off. Seriously, if it was between going home with Baby Adama or shooting my head off, there isn't even a question. I'd go home with Daddy Adama before I'd do that. Christ.

24 (FOX)-

I'm having mixed feelings, which I'll discuss later, but 24 is making me happy. Not only is the love of my life Jack Bauer here again but Tony Almeida, beautiful long lost best friend, presumed dead Tony has arisen and is fighting Jack for my heart. Yeah, that's what I'm going to pretend is happening. Jack and Tony are trying to find the key to my heart. Right now Tony is winning. OMG, I'm cheating on my husband, I'm such a slut.

Leverage (TNT)-

I haven't spoken much (at all) about this show with Timothy Hutton but if you aren't watching it yet, WATCH IT. It's smart, funny, sexy, and has some action in it for us speed junkies. I've only watched the first 3 episodes but I love it. The first two are intelligent and fun.

Life on Mars (ABC)-

I had low hopes for this show when I reluctantly gave it a try last fall. It's easily the best new show on TV. Honestly. It's so good, the cast is amazing, and as much as I hate to admit it, the 70s are fun! Jason O'Mara is extremely easy on the eyes.

Okay, this does NOT count in the collective orgasm. Ew

The Amazing Race (CBS)-

This and Survivor start up in February but this is the one I'm looking forward to. Easily the best reality show ever. Enough said.
