Okay, I know I've talked about this already, but you know what, this is my blog, and I'll talk about whatever the hell I want to. So because of that, I'm going to talk, again, about Men in Trees. I hope all you out there who read this, Mom, Allison and Elaine, realize, from me talking about it numerous times, that this show is amazing. You can tell it's produced by the same people as Sex and the City, has the same feel, the same cute dialogue. I LOVE THIS SHOW!
I never watched Northern Exposure, and have never seen a show set in Alaska, but I imagine, with the huge audience NE had, that many of the things people liked about this show, is there. And even though John Corbett isn't in it... hey, he played Aidan in Sex and the City too! Hahaha, that's funny. Anyway, even though there's no John Corbett, there are at least two adorable guys. One pictured above, one pictured below.
In the last episode Marin and the crazy townies of Elmo, were trying to recruit another town to be their sister town. Of course, Marin being the relationship expert, just put her knowledge into effect and they "courted" the other town. Of course, come to find out, you don't need another town when you have yourself. You're good enough to be by yourself. No other town will define you. You see the metaphor here people?

And, one of the oldest citizens of Elmo (232 of them by the way) died. He was the man who raised Marin's potential love interest, Jack, and of course Jack is hurt, but in that whole, "I'm a tough wilderness guy who's hot and I don't really register emotion like that" way. Because of this man's death, two of the other citizens "adopt" Jack and become his daddies. OMG, this show is so cute. They give him money, take him fishing, it's all so corny but it totally works and works very well.
This show is smart, and relatable, has cute guys, sweet stories, and damnit, I tear up at least once during every episode. Please please please if you have a chance to catch it, watch it. It's on ABC on Fridays.
I'm not going to promise this is my last time talking about this show because I'm sure next week something amazing and funny and great happens and I'll write you guys again to see if you're watching it.
